HLR is looking for energetic individuals with an ecology background to work in our Environmental Department for the summer season of 2020. Work includes learning native plant identification, herbicide application, and mechanical control of wetlands, prairies, lakes. Interns must be able to work at least 3 months (May-August), start and end dates are flexible with university schedules. Position would be based out of the Elgin, Illinois office.
7. Summer Education Intern | International Museum of Surgical Science
The Education Interns at the International Museum of Surgical Science will work closely with Museum staff to assist with education programming and digital outreach. Duties will include but are not limited to developing and facilitating education programs such as guided tours and drop-in interactive experiences and researching the Museum’s collections to write social media and blog posts.
