Beyond Mingling: Networking Strategies for All Types

This workshop will approach the topic of networking skills by breaking down preconceived notions of “successful” networking. Through a combination of lecture, interaction and self-assessment, we will present an authentic model of networking that emphasizes how personality preferences can enhance the setting, etiquette, and motivation for individual networking success. Specifically, participants will be encouraged to identify their preferences toward extroversion or introversion as well as environments that are controlled or spontaneous and apply this information to their best networking fit.
